Thirty books. Twenty-seven apps.
Eight grades, start to finish.

Everything here opens by double-clicking it. No install, no account, no internet needed once you have the file. Most of the books have an app that practises the same pages, so a child can work on paper, on screen, or both.

Spine thickness is the sheet count — a fatter book really does hold more paper. Tap one to jump to it.

How the apps behave: no timers, no losing, no game over. A wrong answer costs nothing and “Show me” appears after two tries. Stars only ever go up. Every app carries a larger-text and a reduce-movement switch, and most have a calm corner to stop in.

Language first and biggest — sounds, spelling, grammar, writing — then living things and structures, our community, feelings and safety, and the arts. The app reads questions aloud.

Volume 1

Everything Else

Body systems, physical and chemical change, forces on structures, New France to 1713, the three levels of government, and the year's hardest reading job — three sources that disagree.

Whose Turn?

A name wheel that gives everyone a turn before anyone repeats — picked names can stay on the wheel dimmed, or leave it so the remaining slices grow: your choice. Saved lists, project mode for the whiteboard, and names that never leave your device.

The Colour Studio

The Grade 3 Assessment, Explained

What EQAO is, what the primary assessment asks, and how it is scored — in plain language, for the adults.

For families

The Assessment, for Families

A small companion site: what the Grade 3 assessment is, how it works, and where marks are lost. It lives in the eqao-prep folder beside this one.

Nothing on the shelf matches that. Try a shorter word, a grade number, or clear the search to see the whole shelf.

Before you hand these to anyone

Five things worth knowing.

They are single files

Each one carries its own styles, artwork and logic. Copy a file anywhere — a USB stick, a shared drive, an email — and it still works. Keep this page in the same folder and the links keep working too.

Printing is already set up

Press Ctrl+P or ⌘+P in any book. Shadows drop out and pages break cleanly at each sheet. Run one test page first to check your margins.

Progress stays on the device

Stars and finished missions are saved in the browser they were earned in. They do not follow a child to another computer, and clearing site data clears them.

Two sheets need an adult first

Grade 1 sheet 53 (“Parts of my body”) uses the correct anatomical names plainly, and the Grade 3 books do not soften the history. Read those with the child rather than handing them over.

Some of it is not paper

The Volume 2 missions and much of the science need a jar, a spade or a spare pair of socks. Those pages are a plan for the afternoon, not a worksheet.
